How Are The Bristol Parks Fairing?

The Community Survey surrounding the 2020 Master Plan has launched to the public and the department of Parks, Recreation, Youth and Community Services invites the Bristol community to weigh in.

The Master Plan is a community-input driven process and the outcome and future recommendations  will be driven by the needs and vision articulated by the community members. The department wanted to provide an online platform for the public to share wants, needs and visions for the future of Bristol.

The Community Engagement Coordinator for the Parks, Recreation, and Youth & Community Services  department added “We look forward to collecting the feedback from the community and this is an  awesome chance to get in at the beginning of the process and truly help shape the direction this plan  goes.”

The Community Survey is the first opportunity for the community to express their opinions and assist in  developing the outcome and future of Bristol’s Parks, Recreation, Youth and Community Services’  resources and offerings. There will be additional opportunities for the public to provide feedback and  input in the future.

The Master Plan website ensures community members are fully aware of the plan’s progress and can  review and see all the findings, technical analysis and recommendations as they are developed. Bristol  Residents are encouraged to follow along with the plan and contribute.  The deadline to participate in the Community Survey is Thursday, October 1st.

The survey is available at http://www.bristolparksplan2020.com for all community members.
