“Dude! You’ll never believe what just happened!”

“Usually, the only scratch game I play is ’20X Cash’.  I’ve won $500 a few times, but nothing ever this big,” said Jeremy Carroll of Waterbury.

The other day, however, Jeremy decided to play the “30X Cash” 13th Edition scratch game.

“I scratched the Scratch-2-Cash code off the ticket and scanned it in a ticket checker.  I thought I won $1,000 at first. I ran out to the car and showed my girlfriend, and we scratched the whole ticket. That’s when we found a ’46’ and a ’46’ match and saw the $10,000 prize.”

What Jeremy did next was priceless.  “I FaceTimed with my girlfriend’s brother and said, ‘Dude! You’ll never believe what just happened!'”

Jeremy’s winning ticket was purchased at Alltown Fresh located at 71 Homeer St., Waterbury.
