Burlington Briefs: Road work, blood drive and gentlemen taking pictures of homes

Route 4 and Route 69 Road Work/Traffic Delays

Expect moderate traffic delays as CT Department of Transportation has scheduled road pavement on RT 4 from the RT 179 intersection to the Burlington Town Hall starting Monday evening 7/22/19 and ending Tuesday evening 7/23/19. (Weather Permitting).

Also,  CT Department of Transportation will be continuing their road resurfacing project on Route 69. This work is scheduled to occur on, or about, Tuesday, July 23, 2019, to Tuesday, August 6, 2019.

The entire project consists of milling and resurfacing a 4.39-mile segment of Route 69, in Burlington from the Bristol town line to Route 4 town center intersection.

Town Assessor Update

Over the next week or so, there will be two gentlemen taking pictures of homes to complete the 2018 Revaluation for the Town.

Blood Drive

The American Red Cross will be having a Blood Drive at the Burlington Town Hall on Monday, July 29, 2019 from 11:00-4:00pm.
