In an effort to reduce unnecessary waste at the City’s Transfer Station, the Public Works Department will host a Book Collection during the months of June and July.
Residents are asked to bring their books that are in good/ gently used condition to City Hall, 111 North Main Street, on the ground floor. There will also be collections July 27th and August 3rd during the Farmers Market from 10am to 1pm located across the street from City Hall.
After the sorting process, books will be donated to the Bristol Parks & Recreation Summer Camp, Friends of Bristol Public Library. Books that cannot be shared with these organizations will be sent to Better World Books in order for them to be recycled properly.
