Lake Compounce announced the return of “Holiday Lights” on November 23 for its 7th season.

This is one of New England’s favorite seasonal holiday-themed family event, taking place Friday, Saturday, and Sunday evenings November 23 – December 23. Plus, this year for the first time Santa’s Brunch will offer an exclusive meal, meet and greet and fun activities for the whole family.

“Holiday Lights was tremendous last year. Guests of all ages really enjoyed the event. Seeing the park decked out in lights is truly amazing,” says Jerry Brick, General Manager.

“We have millions of lights, and special entertainment everywhere. This is truly a family tradition.

Lake Compounce’s Holiday Lights features the tallest Christmas tree in Connecticut. The 100-foot tall tree is decorated with hundreds of thousands of lights and decorations. A ceremonial lighting of the tree hosted by Santa and Mrs. Claus will be held nightly at 5pm on Fridays and 4pm Saturdays and Sundays.

Holiday Lights provides entertainment for all ages, including festive activities such as a spectacular light show every half hour at the main gate, featuring thousands of dancing lights set to holiday music. Kiddieland rides and family themed attractions will be in operation.

The Train will be transformed into the North Pole Railway, operated by a very special uniformed train conductor with a magical holiday story to tell. Guests can also enjoy delicious meals and treats from the many local food trucks that will be in attendance every night including Deb’s Café, Low n’ Slow Catering, Maken’s Sliders, The Ultimate Waffle, The Whey Station, Chompers, the Bakery on Brewer, and Hot Pizzazz Pizza.

Guests can step out of the cold to take part in cozy indoor holiday traditions such as cookie decorating, letters to Santa, and gingerbread house making. On the Kiddieland stage, children will enjoy Mrs. Clause’s Story Time.

There will be live holiday music, a balloon artist, an ice carver creating unique frozen sculptures, and much more. A photo with Santa in the Winter Wonderland Starlight Theatre is a childhood favorite that is not to be missed.

Admission is $15.99 plus tax per adult, $11.99 plus tax for children ages 4 – 10, and free for children 3 and under. Gold and Silver Season Pass holders receive free admission with their 2018 or 2019 pass.

New for 2018, Lake Compounce has added Brunch with Santa. Visit on November 24 and December 1,8, 15 & 22 for a magical brunch with Santa starting at 1pm. Enjoy a delicious meal catered by Santa’s elves as well as various DIY festive activities, Holiday music & sing along, Interactive Reindeer games, Magical Carousel Ride, photos with Santa and more.
