Free Small Business Seminar on May 30 Outlines New Tax Cuts

Business Resource Center at the Simsbury Public Library

Congress just passed the most comprehensive tax reform in over 30 years.  With that comes more risk and opportunity for small businesses than any time in the past three decades.

Simsbury Chamber of Commerce will present a free workshop that will demonstrate how small businesses can use all of the tax changes to their advantage.

The workshop will take place on Wednesday, May 30, 2018 in the Program Room at Simsbury Public Library from 6:00 to 7:30 P. M.

The seminar will cover major changes to corporate taxes, adjustments to business deductions and credits, the expansion of some individual deductions and elimination of others, little-known changes with long-term ramifications, and much more.

Co-hosted with the library and the local SCORE chapter, the workshop will be led by Alan Nathan, CPA, Managing Director of Nathan Accounting Group, a local firm offering comprehensive tax, accounting, consulting, bookkeeping, social media marketing, and merchant services for small and mid-market clients.
