The Burlington Board of Finance will hold a Public Hearing on the 2018-19 Budget on Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at 7:30 PM in the Burlington Town Hall Auditorium.
Burlington’s Board of Finance provides the financial guidance and oversight that every town needs.
Resident members work to keep the town budget within reasonable spending limits while allowing the community to grow.
The delicate balance between town income and expenses is especially apparent when property and business taxes become due.
Working with the Selectmen and the Director of Finance, the Board of Finance works to keep taxes down according to the town website.
Budget Hearings are held at least 10 days prior to the Annual Budget meeting.
The Board of Finance meets the 3rd Wednesday of every month at 7:30pm.
“We welcome your input and involvement throughout the year.”
