Dead Body Found Near Green Lady Cemetery in Burlington

Upson Street closed as Police investigate a dead body found in water | FOX 61

An unidentified woman’s body was found in Burlington and police are asking for the public’s help in identifying her.

State police say the body was found in the water on Upson Road near the Seventh Day Baptist Cemetery also called The Green Lady Cemetery.

The woman has a left arm tattoo of the name “Danny.”

The office of the chief medical examiner is now working to identify the person and determine how she died.

Anyone who may be able to identify the woman is asked to call the police.

Police say there is no threat to the public.

Anyone who thinks they might have information is asked to call detectives at Troop L at (860) 626-7900 or text TIP711 to 274637.
