Christmas Eve armed robbery at Cumberland Farms, fifth robbery of the week

Another robbery has occurred in the Mum City on Christmas Eve.

This is the fifth robbery since Tuesday.

A male displayed a weapon and demanded money from the register at the Cumberland Farms at 191 Central St. in Forestville.

No injuries were reported and the amount stolen was not disclosed.

The four other robberies occurred on Tuesday, December 19, 2017, at Sam’s Food Store; 259 West Washington Street and Citgo Gas Station; 36 East Main Street.

On Wednesday, December 20, 2017, at the Valero Gas Station, located at 948 Pine Street. And at the Collins road location of Beacon Pharmacy on Friday, December 22, 2017.

Bristol Police suspect a few of the robbery may be connected to the other armed robberies that occurred on Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at Sam’s Food Store; 259 West Washington Street and Citgo Gas Station; 36 East Main Street.
