On November 18 from 1 – 4 p.m., Dawn Leger will be signing copies of her new novel, “Embracing the Fool,” at the Imagine Nation Museum, located at One Pleasant Street in Bristol.
This is Dawn’s third work of fiction but the first book in her new mystery series featuring Prof. Cassie Thornton.
The series is easy, light reading along the lines of Janet Evanovich’s series featuring Stephanie Plum – but in a university setting. Cassie is trying to start over with a new job in a new city, but her past keeps tripping her up.
The fact that her mother is a Gypsy who returned to that lifestyle when Cassie was a young child turns out to be one secret that Cassie can’t keep hidden for long – especially as her relationship with Detective Ty Friday develops.
Entrance to the book signing is free (no museum admission is required) and refreshments are available from the Imagine Cafe.
A second book signing will be held at the Bristol Historical Society’s Holiday Fair on Dec. 2 from 10 am to 4 p.m.
Dawn will be signing copies of “Embracing the Fool” and her previously published novels, and she will be joined by Chuck Radda and David Fortier, who will also be signing copies of their books.
