Police: Man dies from injuries in Bristol crash

A Wolcott man died from injuries he suffered in a crash Monday evening in Bristol.

Bristol Police reported on Monday night, the Police Department received a 911 call regarding a motor vehicle accident with injuries on Witches Rock Road.

Officers found Henry Flynn, age 56 of Wolcott suffering from severe leg injuries and later died at Hartford Hospital. He was initially brought to Bristol Hospital.

A preliminary investigation found that Flynn had parked his 2000 GMC truck with trailer along the curb line of the northbound lane of Witches Rock Road.

Lindsy Hurlbert, age 21 of Granby was traveling north on Witches Rock Road in a 2008 Honda Civic. As she approached the truck, a crash occurred.

No charges have been filed and the accident remains under investigation by the department’s Serious Traffic Accident Reconstruction Team.
