Chrysalis Center and St. Philip House announced that St. Philip House became a program of Chrysalis Center, Inc.
Both Chrysalis Center and St. Philip House work to address the housing and social service needs of people whose lives have been touched by HIV/AIDS.
“Thanks to the assistance of St. Philip House’s Board Chairman, Kevin Kelley and newly retired Executive Director, Richard Baraglia, it was a smooth and positive transition,” said Sharon L. Castelli, Chief Executive Officer of Chrysalis Center.
“It is the perfect marriage of two like-minded organizations coming together to not only strengthen services for those we serve, but also to provide greater operating efficiencies.”
St. Philip House will maintain its current location in Plainville, CT and continue its mission to provide access to safe and affordable housing, increase community awareness through education, render support services to people living with HIV/AIDS and their loved ones and encourage empowerment.
Chrysalis Center is a private, nonprofit, socially innovative, multi-service organization that serves individuals and their families living in the State of Connecticut.
The Center helps those living in poverty, Veterans, women and children, youth adults and individuals that are struggling with mental health, addiction, HIV/AIDS, those returning from incarceration and homelessness.
