Relay for Life of Bristol postponed

The Relay for Life of Bristol “Kick off” celebration scheduled for Sunday, February 8th is going to be postponed due to the inclement weather that is being forcasted.  It is time to get things Rocking and Rolling for the 2015 Relay For Life of Bristol. With a theme this year of “Rocking out Cancer and Rolling in a Cure,” the kick-off celebration will be loads of fun and an event not to be missed. The kick-off will be rescheduled for Sunday Feb 15 at Bleachers, 300 Middle Street, Bristol from 3 to 5 p.m.

This will not be a meeting, this will be a celebration of the success of last year’s Relay event. The goal last year was to raise $85,000 but Bristol surpassed it’s goal and netted more than $100,000.

There will be free dinner provided by Bleachers as well as fun activities.

Don’t miss this once-a-year event.

The entire family is invited, children are welcome.

Please RSVP by Feb. 10 to either of the event chairs, Derrick Lachance or Marissa Finnemore at bristolrelayforlife@gmail.com.

As a reminder, registration is free this year for the 2015 Relay so don’t waste any time and go to the website www.relayforlife.org/bristolct and sign up your team or as an individual.
