Arrest made in 2014 Davis Drive Shooting

Bristol Police report that back in May of 2014, Police were dispatched to Bristol Hospital to investigate a complaint that a male was seeking treatment for a gunshot wound to his arm.

The subsequent investigation revealed the victim, Kenneth Slaughter, 23, of Meriden, CT suffered a single gunshot wound to his left arm.

After several months of investigation the Bristol Police Criminal Investigation Division identified a suspect and obtained an arrest warrant for him. Earlier today Bristol Police served the arrest warrant on Jahquan Tutein, 20, of 128 Shawn Dr. Apt B5 Bristol, CT. He was charged with Assault 1st Degree, Criminal Possession of a Pistol, Carrying a Pistol Without a Permit, Reckless Endangerment 1st Degree, and Criminal Mischief 3rd Degree.

He was processed and held on a $250,000.00 court set bond.
