In response Cynthia Mulhearn, Director of TOMcat Animal Rescue in Plainville said “The Housing Authority and Mayors office are putting out some misinformation. They claim they are working with Lisa Cyr from FOBAC on TNR at the property. They say that the issue is closed. This is not true! Lisa Cyr is not part of FOBAC and they did not ask her to do TNR, they asked her to REMOVE the 7 already TNRed cats! She also claimed that while they are not “paying” her, they are providing her with all the materials she needs to remove the cats.”
After her public Facebook post about the matter, the Mayor’s Facebook page posted this.
