Visions For Vacancies: Downtown Church For Sale

472ead0a9d9a4cd3905fc518296bdd95Periodically, the Central Connecticut Post will feature a vacant commercial building and ask you to tell us what you think would be the best use for it.

Forget what zone it’s in, ignore setback regulations, dump lot coverage rules and all the other zoning jargon that puts most people to sleep. If you had your way, what would you like to see there? What would be the best use for the community?

Today we are featuring the still worshiping church at 43 School Street on Route 72 in Bristol. The property is currently for sale and is described as a well maintained church with connected offices, meeting rooms, kitchen, Church Hall, classrooms and lavatories. The property is on a corner lot with ample parking.

So, what would you like to see there? Tell us on our Facebook page.

Know of a vacant building we should highlight? Let us know!
