Rockwell Gateway sign_thumbThe Connecticut Cycling Advancement Program announced a program to start a Mountain Bike Team and training program Wednesdays (4 pm) and TWO Saturday mornings. Starting July 23 at Rockwell Park in Bristol, the five week program will be open to youth ages 10 to 18 to practice riding on entry level trails then moving to more challenging trails as they progress.

Participants will need a mountain bike in good working condition, helmet and water. Please wear comfortable clothing but not too loose. Bug spray is suggested. If you do not have a bike, please contact Karen@ctcyclingadvancement.com and we may be able to help you.

The goal of the five week program is to give youth access to the sport of mountain biking, to teach them skills needed to compete and flourish in the sport in a team-based setting. Registration of $75 will cover the whole series and is open to residents in the Bristol area.
