Bristol Boys and Girls Club’s FCGymnastics Team Qualify For AAU Nationals

 

bgcnasBRISTOL – For the first time, the Bristol Boys & Girls Club’s FCGymnastics team has qualified for AAU Nationals being held in June at Disney’s Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando. Shout out to the girls that qualified for Nationals – Nithalie Sarcol, Realite Williams, MaryKate Bunce and Sharon Adkins.

 

The AAU CT State meet was held at TriTown Gymnastics in Vernon on May 3rd were 175 gymnasts that competed in the AAU Xcel levels (Platinum, Gold, Silver and Bronze), level 7 & level 8. The local girls had to qualify for the AAU State meet and have already qualified for the AAU Northeast Regional meet to be held in June at All Stars Gymnastics Academy in Windsor. s team has been quite successful! At the AAU State meet the Xcel Platinum team took home 1st MaryKate Bunce and Sharon Adkins.

Gold team took 1st Siriwardene, Deniz Torres, Chloe Cyr and Alexa Bugryn. Silver team took home 2nd place led by Zoe Lowe, Julianna Scott, Haley Riley and Emily Brandi. The Bronze team finishing 4th led by Jessica Oakes, Amarian Anthony, Brianalyn Lanzara and Kristina Bonenfant.
