BRISTOL – Girl Scouts of Connecticut is hosting an open house at Camp Carlson in Bristol on Sunday, May 4 from 1 to 4 p.m. The camp will be open for girls and families to attend and discover the exciting summer camp programs designed for all girls entering grades 1 through 12. The open house will allow families to tour the facilities, meet with camp directors and staff members, and learn about camp life.
Camp Carlson is located at 400 Willis Street in Bristol on 38 acres at the top of South Mountain, overlooking Bristol and the Berkshire Mountains. A swimming pool, play field, arts and crafts center, and an amphitheater are within the woodlands of camp. Programs in archery, tennis, and Horse Fun are available this year. Tracy Malootian is a returning camp director.
