Bristol Dam Removal Permits Submitted

pequabuck-river-street-dam-300x225BRISTOL – Federal and state permit applications have been submitted for the removal of the Middle Street Dam in Bristol, which no longer serves a purpose but obstructs the migration of fish up the river. Once CCRPA receives these permits, the project can move ahead to the bidding process to hire a contractor to remove the dam.

The removal is slated to commence either during the Summer of 2014 or the Summer of 2015, depending upon when the permits are granted.
