Bristol Brass And Wind Ensemble “Rhapsody In Blue”

The Bristol Brass and wind ensemble will present a concert “Rhapsody in Blue,” a tribute to George Gershwin, Sunday, May 4, 4 p.m. at the Prospect United Methodist Church, 99 Summer Street, Bristol.

Conducted by Richard Theriault, the Bristol Brass and Wind Ensemble will perform Porgy and Bess Selections, Cuban Overture as well as Big Band Signatures, The Sinfonians March and Mambo from West Side Story.

Also performing will be vocalists Liz Wilson and Blaise Tramazzo as well as The Bristol Choral Society Special Group under the direction of Kenneth Ferris.
The concert finale will feature pianist James Santucci performing “Rhapsody in Blue” accompanied by the BBWE.
