The marketing arm of renaissance Downtowns has also asked the public what pet projects would work best for the community.
After a recent meet up, Rising said “The results are interesting for what people want as our next Pet Projects. Help break the tie for 2nd place. Take a minute and help us figure out what to focus on next. “

Renaissance Downtowns has proposed developing two buildings at the site, which is now known as Depot Square, as the first phase of a larger plan for the 15.4-acre site. Both buildings would contain residential and commercial tenants.
Jennifer Arasimowicz, chairperson of the BDDC, said the company had to close on at least the first phase of the project by May 25. She confirmed the BDDC would have to first receive and review the finance plan before submitting it to the council with a recommendation to close on the site.
Walerysiak said the company was confident that it could meet the deadline.
Another company, D’Amato Realty, also proposed mixed use development for the site in 2009. The project would have included national retailers and a potential new city hall, according to D’Amato’s proposal.
