Wheeler Clinic Held Open House In Downtown Bristol

A free open house at Wheeler’s Health & Wellness Center at 10 North Main Street, Bristol, on November 18 highlighted Wheeler’s integrated health care services and promoted overall health through proper nutrition.

Exterior---150-dpi-for-webThe event featured two sessions that included a tour of the Wheeler Health & Wellness Center; Body Mass Index and blood pressure screenings; and a nutrition presentation with information about portion sizes, food handling and weight control.

The Wheeler Health & Wellness Center in Bristol is open to the public and provides an array of behavioral health and medical health care services to individuals and families, including primary and walk-in care for all ages; well-child care and immunizations; physical examinations; gynecological care; integrated behavioral health care; coordination and referral for dental care and specialty health services; and free smoking cessation and support. Services are available in Spanish and English. Medicaid, Medicare and commercial health insurance are welcome, and a sliding fee scale is available.
