BuzzFeed is a popular website that combines a technology for detecting viral content with an editorial selection process to provide a snapshot of “the viral web in realtime”. The content of the posts is usually either a video, image, or link. These posts are the site’s attempt to capture the essence of viral media currently resonating on the web.

Recently they did a post called “20 Things We Learned From Connecticut’s Unique Museums”.  The New England Carousel Museum & The American Clock & Watch Museum was on their list.

BuzzFeed: “You’ll be amazed at how much there is to learn about carousels when you visit The New England Carousel Museum in Bristol, CT. During the golden age of carousels from 1870 to 1930, Connecticut was home to forty different carousels. Today there are thirteen active carousels, and a lot of history to be digested.”
